Okay, so most people know that Kettle Corn is essentially sweetened popcorn. It’s best when warm and being shared with your favs….right kteb?? Until recently I never knew how to make it. It wasn’t as hard as I thought. Who knew…all you needed was an old fashioned popcorn maker (for the stove) and kernels? Here’s an easy recipe so that you can make kettle corn at home.
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1/4 cup of vegie oil
1/4 cup of sugar
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Once hot, stir in the sugar and popcorn. Cover, and shake the pot constantly to keep the sugar from burning. Once the popping has slowed to once every 2 to 3 seconds, remove the pot from the heat and continue to shake for a few minutes until the popping has stopped. Pour into a large bowl, and allow to cool, stirring occasionally to break up large clumps. ENJOY the deliciousness!

Highly recommended after strenuous shopping trips, hikes in the mountains, or for a late morning snack in your cube. Although now that I think about it, that would mean that you need a stove in your cube…nevermind.
